Who is she?
Hey there dolls!
This is a photograph of me to the left. In case you don’t know me, my name is Blake Butler and I am a 19 years of age. I live in Adelaide, Australia, ever since I was born. I’m pretty and a bitch, my life story right! I’ve never been one to publish what living the life in my shoes is like. A lot of people don’t know what it’s like living the life I do. I face multiple difficult tasks on an everyday basis, and as hard as life can be, I always make sure to remind myself of how strong I am as a person, how much courage it takes to live the life I do and what kind of role model am towards people within the LGBTQ+ community. I’ve never liked labeling myself as anything. People would always ask me questions such as ‘Do you want to be a girl?’ My answer was always, ‘I am Blake.’ I never identified myself as anything other than Blake. I never looked at myself as a male, I never looked at myself as a female. I hated the fact of having to label myself as I don’t think it’s necessary towards society of what label I come under. As far as people should be concerned, my name is Blake and I am a human just like you are. Just because I dress different for my born ‘specified gender’ does not make me any less of a human then you are. It has been such a long journey for me, trying discover who I really am, but I am finally happy to say that my name is Blake, and I am a transgender female, and this is my story.
